Welcome to Full Color Prints
Please review the sections on this page before placing your order. You’ll find guidelines for preparing your files, order minimums and turnaround, print policies, embroidery details, and how to make a payment so your custom shirts go smoothly from start to finish.
Preparing Files
We Accept These File Formats:
-
.ai (with outlined fonts)
-
.eps (with outlined fonts)
-
.pdf (with transparent background)
-
.tiff (with transparent background)
-
.png (with transparent background)
We do not accept .jpeg files due to a lack of resolution and editability. Microsoft Word, Publisher and PowerPoint are also not used. If your artwork doesn’t meet these specifications, we can take a look at it but keep in mind that design charges may be added. Please remember to outline your fonts, and assign desired Pantone colors if your design requires specific colors, otherwise we will use what we think is the closest color.
Stroke Line Thickness
Stroke line thickness needs to be at least 2 px. Detail smaller than 2px often won’t hold when printed. Non-print areas need to be at least 4 px thick or they will completely fill in.
Design To Actual Print Size
It’s always good to submit your design files sized to your desired print size. Best practice is to consider the final print size while designing rather than enlarging it after the artwork is complete. This will make for a crisper, cleaner screen print. It is best to create either in vector or 300 dpi resolution.
Outline Fonts
Due to the limitless number of fonts out there, we ask that you please convert all type to outlines in Adobe Illustrator. This speeds along the proofing process by ensuring we can view your type exactly how you intend it to print. There is a simple command that converts the type into a vector shape making it recognizable on any computer.

Policies & Terms
Garment Variances
Due to the nature of apparel manufacturing, we cannot guarantee consistency in garment color, sizing, or construction across all items in an order. Manufacturers may occasionally change specifications without notice. Full Color Prints is not responsible for these minor manufacturer variances.
Print Placement & Sizing
While we strive for precision, manual screen printing allows for a standard variance of up to 0.5 inches in any direction for print placement. Unless specific measurements are requested and confirmed in your mockup, placement will be at the discretion of our production team based on standard industry practices.
Customer Supplied Garments
We prefer to source garments for our clients to ensure print quality. If you choose to provide your own garments, Full Color Prints is not responsible for any damage or misprints that may occur during the production process. We do not replace customer-supplied items.
Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled prior to the start of production. Once garments have been ordered or production has commenced, cancellations are subject to restocking fees and labor costs incurred up to that point. Custom-printed items are non-refundable.
Claims & Returns
Any claims regarding missing items or print defects must be made within 72 hours of receiving your order. Because each item is custom-made, we do not accept returns unless there is a clear error on our part that deviates from the approved digital mockup.
Artwork Creation and Ownership
Any and all artwork submitted must be created by you and have full permission to use. Full Color Prints will not be responsible for any copyright infringments.
Payment
Due to our faster than usual turnaround time, we require full up-front payment on every order. This speeds processing and eases delivery /pick-up without the need to make a second payment to us when your shirts are ready.
Social Media
We love to print and are excited to show off the work we do for you! Pictures are often taken during production and after the prints are complete. We post them on sites like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. It’s a great way to show our skills and to spread awareness of your brand. If you’re not comfortable with your project being photographed and shared, please let us know while placing your order. No notification will constitute your full permission to post a photo of your shirt(s)
